Art Summary 2016

Better late than never!

This year has been not that exciting in terms of my upload schedule here on dA, I'll admit. It is one of the least active years I've had in a while.
However, this does not mean I've been sitting still when it comes to creative stuff! I've gotten amazing opportunities from school to do a few big art projects. Due to wanting to put them in my portfolio first, I didn't want to post them here just yet, but many of them are included in this summary. 

-Even though I made the drawing of March in June, I used it for March because that's when I came up with this character (I also would end up with too many empty spaces if I didn't ). Throughout the first half of the year, I developed her, designed her, and wrote her a story. It was all part of an illustration project that I got as an extra art assignment. I'm still working on it, actually!
-In July, I added a lot more to the animated short I made in february to enter an inter-school contest with it. I ended up making it to the finals! It was one of the best moments of the year for me.
-The one from September was the background of a MAP part (the only of of the year btw. It was actually from very early october). I'll post the full drawing as soon as I can!
-In December, me and a friend did a research on the Celts for our final high-school thesis. Our final product was a small illustrated children's book. It was very time-consuming, but it paid off really well and was good fun.
